BTW, Elaine, which train station is it? If your ARC has your complete address, a taxi with one of those GPS things should be able to find it ... otherwise it's usually best to find a well-known landmark. Beomgye station. Sometimes I've had ok luck, other times it's a hassle, I just think they see a white face and can't be bothered.

Well, I found the store and I'm a lot closer than I thought. It's just far enough away for Bangsiri to have a decent walk without me getting exhausted. They don't have tons of vegan treats, but they do have a few items that I like and want to eat more of. Thanks again.

Hey everyone, I'm a vegan and just visiting here in Korea for two more weeks. I'm staying with a friend who is teaching English here in Suji, Yongin, near Seoul (we're both from the same place in Canada, although he's definately not vegan). I've mostly been sticking to Lotte Mart and various places around here (mostly american places like Subway), and would love to meet some people from/in this area who are vegan or vegetarian and also find new places to eat & actually know I'm eating vegan food Feel free to contact me! My email address is in my profile!

Hi there This is my 2nd year in Korea. I am in Gangwondo, teaching at a High School and loving it! I have been vegan for 10 years, and find that Korea has a good selection of greens that can be eaten raw. Fruit, albeit a bit pricey, is not as bad as I expected. Korean apples are delicious! I'm really into sprouting, but struggle to find much to sprout, beyond sunflower seeds and mung beans... Any suggestions? Many thanks... nice to be here on this forum, BTW. Murray
